Whiteleaf is a hamlet in the Chiltern Hills famous for its chalk carving on Whiteleaf Hill and home to another Runaway Adventure on September 29th.

This route is 18km and takes in some beautiful countryside, starting and finishing at Monks Risborough train station.

How to register

This run is being put on for the Chiltern Heritage Festival and you will need to book via the Chiltern Society website.

From London Marylebone we will be taking the 09:13, arriving into Monks Risborough at 10:06.

Departing

We will aim to depart on the 13:41, but this could change depending on how long we stay in the pub. Trains depart every hour at 41 past.


N.B. You are welcome to make your own travel arrangements and meet us at the start point.

Chiltern Hills trail guide

Chilterns local Tim has a background in teaching & coaching as well as holding awards in athletics & orienteering.

He began running seriously 5 years ago after the birth of his first child, starting with 5k/10k local road races to lose a few extra pounds. Shortly after he signed up for his first trail marathon, deciding that's where running should taking place!

Now his mission is to convert everyone he meets to the beauty of the trails.
