This is a 10 mile group run in the South Downs on Sunday 21st July.

The run starts in the village of Hassocks where we will make our way to the summit of Ditchling Beacon before descending into the surrounding countryside.

The run easily accessible via train from London Victoria, London Bridge & Clapham Junction.

As you will see below the route is a 16km loop which features the ascent of Ditchling Beacon at 3km — It's rather steep, but worth it! We then run along the South Downs Way for 4km before descending back down and looping around through some nice fields and woodland.

You can travel with the Runaway Adventures team from London Bridge station boarding the 09:11 arriving in Hassocks at 10:06.

If you are buying your own ticket an off-peak day return to Hassocks will cover both journeys.


If you are driving them you can park directly at Hassocks Station or for free in the surrounding area.


The run will finish at The Greyhound Inn pub which has a good outdoor area to enjoy some food and drinks.
