Join us for a guided run through the hidden trails of Richmond Park.

Richmond Park is the largest of London's Royal Parks with its wide open spaces, grasslands, ancient woodland, and free roaming deer herds.

This 21km run will follow secret and seldom used trails through breathtaking scenery with stunning vistas around every turn.

There are toilets and water at 12km.

Exact meeting points and information pack will be emailed to you a few days before the run.

During the run will have a few water stops to allow everyone to take a breather and keep the group together.

Route

Details

The route is undulating with a few hills and is designed to give a real experience of the great outdoors right here in London far away from the crowds, and other park users, with spectacular views to the west as far as Windsor Castle and to the east as far as St Paul's Cathedral and the city.

Starting with a easy warm up along Richmond Riverside and the River Thames the route will end in spectacular style with sixty-seven testing steps up to the finish at Pembroke Lodge.

Travel

Arriving

Richmond Station is the a couple of minutes walk from our start point. Please give plenty of time to arrive to allow for delays and Sunday timetable..

Departing

We will finish the run at a local pub in Richmond, from here its a short walk back to Richmond Station.

Refreshments/Lunch

Please bring water, along with a gel (or something sugary) in case you run out of energy.


Depending on numbers & group consensus, we will either go to the Pembroke Lodge or The Roebuck pub. Both are close to our finish point.

From the finish point/lunch it's a 15 minute walk back to Richmond Station down Richmond Hill.

Chris is an ultra-runner and founder of Runaway Adventures.

He has completed a number of long distance events, most recently the Lofoten Ultra Trail (50 miles) in Norway.

Chris holds a Outdoor First Aid certificate.
